About The Course
The aim of the course is to train individuals to render first aid treatment to the casualty during an emergency or accident at home or public places.
Learning Objectives
CE1: Essentials of First Aid
CE2: Unconscious Casualty (Non Cardiac Arrest)
CE3: Respiratory Problems
CE4: Shock, Bleeding and Wounds
CE5: Musculoskeletal Injuries
CE6: Burns Injuries
CE7: Other First Aid Knowledge
Validity of the card : 2 years validity for Standard First Aid + AED
20% discount is offered to NROC (National Registry of Coaches) coaches.
The Standard First Aid course is accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC).
Total training hours – 16 hrs (Including assessment). 2 days course.
Assessment Format & Duration -
• Written Assessment – 30 mins
• Practical Assessment: 15 mins for each participant
Passing Criteria -
• Written Assessment – 80%
• Practical Assessment – 100%
Entry Requirements
100% Attendance for classroom session
From 1st January 2022, SRFAC will also require all learners/trainees to be fully vaccinated or certified to be medically ineligible for COVID-19 vaccines or have recovered from COVID-19 within the past 180 days before they can come onsite for training. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals will not be allowed for onsite training.
