Entry Requirements
Participants must possess a valid CSOC / AWSCS, to be eligible to attend the CSOC recertification assessment.
Please take note of the following requirements for the CSOC recertification assessment with effect from 1st January 2024:
The trainee shall have passed at least one Apply WSH in Construction Sites (AWSHCS)/CSOC assessment before he/she could be registered for the CSOC recertification assessment. Trainees who have passed at least one AWSHCS/CSOC assessment shall be registered to take the CSOC recertification assessment with the incorporation of Microlearning questions, regardless of whether they choose to sign up for the full course or directly to take the recertification assessment.
If trainee has failed the CSOC recertification assessment and is required to apply for the AWSHCS/CSOC 2-day course, the trainee must complete the WSH Microlearning Programme first before enrolling for AWSCS 2 days course. The trainee must register for the WSH Microlearning Programme with either SCAL Academy or NTUC LearningHub. The trainee must complete and pass the programme before re-registering for the AWSHCS/CSOC 2-day course.
Exemption for New or First Time Trainees: New or first-time trainees taking the AWSHCS/CSOC 2-day course are not required to show the e-certificate for the WSH Microlearning Programme. New trainees are not required to attend the ML Programme, at this juncture.
Latecomers are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED into the class.
Participants must bring along any one of the following documents (photocopy or original) to be allowed to attend the class
Work permit or IPA and Passport or NRIC / S Pass / Employment Pass.
Participants must wear Safety Shoes and properly attired (No Singlet/Shorts/Bermudas)
Participants are allowed to sit for the CSOC recertification assessment once only.
If the participant fails the recertification assessment, then he is required to attend the 2 days AWSCS course and pass the assessment to renew his existing CSOC / AWSCS. Please refer to AWSCS course details for the schedule and fees.
With effect from 1 Jan 2024, online based assessment shall be instituted, instead of hard copy assessment. The photo capturing of trainee(s) using proctoring system will be done, while the online assessment is in progress.
