Course Contents:
1.Identify duties and responsibilities of all personnel involved in confined space work under the WSH Legislations and Code of Practice
2.Identify confined space hazards
3.Use Gas Detection Instruments for atmospheric monitoring
4.Comply with Permit to Work system and safe work procedures when working in confined space
5.Participate in an Emergency for confined space

Assumed Skills & Knowledge:
Learners are assumed to:
1.Have basic knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE)
2.Know how to use basic PPE provided at workplace
3.Be able to follow written and oral work instructions
4.Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2
5.Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2.

100% attendance is required.
Latecomers are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED into the class.

Trainees must bring along any one of the following documents (photocopy or original) to be allowed to attend the class
Work permit  
IPA and Passport
NRIC / S Pass / Employment Pass.

Trainees must wear Safety Shoes and properly attired (No Singlet/Shorts/Bermudas).
